Caroline Parent

Hip Hop

Caroline Parent has over 25 years experience in dance and has danced competitively for over 15 years. She has proficient knowledge and exams in many dance styles, including jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet, modern, lyrical, Pointe, stunting, even baton twirling. After training at the Université du Québec à Montréal in modern dance, she returned home to pursue her studies at University of Ottawa.Caroline is a dynamic hip hop instructor, certified cheerleading coach and soon to be accredited tap teacher with the Beat Dance Alliance of Teachers.
 
She has worked as a dance instructor and choreographer for the last five years, and has been a professional dancer for many different occasions such as the Ottawa Renegades dance team, Ottawa 67’s dance team, as a performing artist at the Gilbo musical restaurant and back-up dancer for the rap artist ZPN. Recipient of many dance awards, she has been a part of numerous competitive dance teams, including our own Aylmer Avenue Dance Company, the Ottawa University dance team and the senior hip hop company during the ADA nationals in New York. She is also the founder of numerous cheerleading squads and is currently a member of the all-star open cheerleading team, the Cheer Ultime de l’Outaouais.
