Kaitlyn Shaw

Jazz, Tap

Kaitlyn has been dancing for 16 years  and teaching at local studios for 5 years.  She  first started  her training at The Children's Ballet Studio  in  ballet and tap  classes and then continued intensive training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Highland, Irish Step Dancing, Modern, Lyrical, and Majorette at various schools in the area.  She completed  her exams under the  BATD syllabus in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, and Highland with honours rankings ;  and due to  her incredible scores, she was  awarded with scholarships  3 years in a row to  attend  nationals in Toronto.  She has  also completed  her  grade 8 RAD ballet exam with honours. While competing for 12 years  she has been in numerous top scoring groups, duets/trios, and solos. These accomplishments have lead  her  to take many classes with top choreographers in North America  and was also in a production held in New York City called 'Shake The Floor' which is directed by Dan Karaty.
